Ox Recall – Ox Straps

OX Group has recently undertaken a review and testing of its range of “OX” labelled ratchet straps.

They have identified that these straps have been incorrectly labelled, stating a lashing capacity that is higher than the manufactured product. e.g. on the 25mm ratchet straps the label should read “500kgs Break Strength/250kgs lashing capacity” not “500kgs lashing capacity”.

This error may result in the product being used incorrectly and thereby breaking under higher load and accordingly, Ox has issued a full product recall for these products.The recall affects the following product sold at NHS between February 2017 and June 2017:

What to do now?

Do not use the strap/s! Return all the straps to us and receive a full refund.
