With an aesthetically pleasing appearance, the texture is medium and even with a typically interlocked grain. Grown in the coastal forests from mid New South Wales to northern Queensland, the natural palette of white mahogany ranges from light brown to a yellow-brown, with sapwood often more creamy-brown in colour. A paler option to Blackbutt decking, with less natural defects compared to the Blackbutt.
